Oil Water Separator

An oil–water separator (OWS) is a piece of equipment used to separate oil and water mixtures into their separate components. Oil–water separator is a device designed to separate gross amounts of oil and suspended solids from the wastewater effluents of oil refineries, petrochemical plants, chemical plants, natural gas processing plants and other industrial sources. Purification of air we breathe carries contaminants. Airborne particles, water, microbes, and chemical gases enter compressors. At a state these contaminants become concentrated and more destructive.

Description

ORION ENGINEERING deals with a wide range of Air Oil Separator for compressors. The offered air oil separator are used to separate and reclaim lubricating oil from the air-stream of air compressors in general & rotary screw compressors in particular.

These are fabricated using optimum quality raw material and cutting-edge technology. The offered range is designed and developed with high precision in accordance to meet the set industry standards. Known for their durability, heat resistance and long lasting performance, these are highly demanded by clients all across the nation.

Air Oil Separators remove compressor lubricant from the compressed air stream. An Air Oil Separator reduces the lubrication oil entrained in the compressed air to 2-3 ppm.

Most rotary screw compressors inject compressor oil into the compression chamber when the air is being compressed. This oil serves as a coolant and provides lubrication by absorbing heat of compression.

The compressed air is full of oil when it leaves the compressor air end. This oil needs to be removed and returned to the oil pump, so that the same oil can be circulated again.

The Air oil Separator is the component that separates the compressor lubrication oil which may be mineral oil or synthetic oil from the compressed air and returns it to the Oil pump.
